Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting architecture role where you will be driving massive SAP S/4HANA transformations, specifically focusing on complex multi-entity finance structures. If you are tired of surface-level consulting and want to own end-to-end global financial architecture from the ground up, this gig gives you the ownership to actually build things right.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your day-to-day will be a mix of high-level solution design and stakeholder management across Finance, Tax, Legal, and IT units. You will be hands-on with designing organizational structures, company codes, product costing, and material ledgers while guiding at least two Greenfield implementations and multiple legal entity rollouts. Expect to spend a lot of time translating complex regulatory, SOX, and audit requirements into clean, scalable S/4HANA Finance configurations.
The Core Tech Stack
They need someone who deeply understands SAP S/4HANA Finance and Core Architecture inside and out. You must be fluent in Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Product Costing, Material Ledger, and Project Accounting, because you will be the final technical authority when things get complicated. Experience in the semiconductor industry or fab manufacturing environments is a massive plus, as is any exposure to emerging SAP AI capabilities for modern solution design.
Interview Expectations
When you get on the call with the hiring manager, expect them to test your war stories regarding Greenfield deployments and multi-entity complexities. They are likely going to ask you how you handled a major scope creep or compliance failure during a legal entity go-live, and they are secretly looking for your pragmatic approach to trade-offs between standard SAP best practices and stubborn business demands.
Application Advice
Do not just drop generic SAP buzzwords into your resume. Make sure you explicitly highlight the number of legal entity implementations and Greenfield deployments you have personally led. Emphasize your experience with SOX controls, external audits, and cross-functional stakeholder management to get past the initial ATS screen and show them you have run enterprise-grade finance architectures before.
