Full Stack Developer + AWS

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting enterprise full-stack role where you are expected to juggle modern frontend frameworks and robust Java microservices while living in AWS. You will be building scalable applications that require both deep technical chops and the ability to talk shop with executive stakeholders. If you enjoy wearing multiple hats from UI design to cloud infrastructure and integrating AI tools into your daily workflow, this gig will keep you on your toes.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days designing, building, and maintaining high-performance enterprise applications that bridge sleek React and Next.js frontends with resilient Java/Spring backend services. Expect to spin up event-driven pipelines using Apache Kafka, manage cloud architecture on AWS, and troubleshoot production issues using tools like Dynatrace or Splunk. You'll also be expected to leverage AI-powered coding assistants to speed up your workflow without sacrificing code quality, all while collaborating closely with product managers and cross-functional teams.

The Core Tech Stack

To survive here, you need absolute fluency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, Java, and Spring, along with hands-on production experience in AWS infrastructure. The team is leaning heavily into Next.js for their web apps and Apache Kafka for event streaming, so having those in your toolkit will make you immediately valuable. You can't just be a pure frontend or backend specialist; they need someone who can comfortably trace a request from a React component down through a Java microservice and out to an AWS cloud deployment.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring managers to test your ability to architect a distributed system under load, so be ready for a deep dive into how you handle eventual consistency and message streaming with Kafka across microservices. They will also grill you on your AWS troubleshooting methodology, likely presenting a scenario where a React frontend is timing out due to a backend bottleneck and asking you to walk through your debugging strategy using logs and metrics in Splunk or Dynatrace. They aren't just looking for correct code; they want to see how you communicate complex technical tradeoffs to non-technical folks.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume screams 'full stack' by prominently featuring React, Node.js, and Java/Spring right at the top, but don't bury your AWS and Kafka experience. You need to explicitly weave in keywords like 'microservices', 'Next.js', 'Dynatrace', and 'AWS infrastructure' to clear their automated ATS filters. If you have any experience utilizing AI coding tools in a professional setting or managing stakeholder relationships at an executive level, put front-and-center—that is the exact secret sauce they are looking for.
