Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting program management role where you'll juggle an EDI migration, ongoing L2/L3 support, and a cloud modernization push all at once. If you thrive under tight deadlines and know your way around legacy platforms and cloud infrastructure, this gig will keep you on your toes.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll be orchestrating three parallel tracks: moving off TrustedLink onto IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, keeping the lights on for legacy support, and coordinating the eventual shift of these workloads into Azure. Your day-to-day will involve wrangling internal employees and external vendors, setting up strict governance frameworks, tracking budgets against SOWs, and making sure HIPAA compliance doesn't fall by the wayside while you execute high-stakes cutovers.
The Core Tech Stack
You need deep, hands-on familiarity with EDI standards like X12 and EDIFACT, alongside enterprise experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and legacy setups like TrustedLink. Beyond the EDI side, you must speak the language of Azure cloud services—covering IaaS, PaaS, and core security principles—because you'll be partnering closely with cloud engineering teams to map out the transition.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring manager to ask you how you've historically handled a major cutover failure right before a hard deadline, and listen closely for your strategy on rolling back safely while managing jittery stakeholders. They'll also probe your experience managing vendor resources versus internal employees, looking specifically for how you drive accountability and enforce KPIs when delivery timelines slip.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume screams multi-stream program management rather than just single-project delivery. Explicitly highlight keywords like 'IBM Sterling', 'TrustedLink', 'Azure migration', 'HIPAA', and 'vendor management' so you breeze past the ATS filters and land directly on the hiring manager's desk.
