Job Description & Details
This is a hands-on .NET and AngularJS contract role requiring an in-person interview in Hamilton Township, NJ. You will be acting as the bridge between backend architecture and frontend interfaces while dealing directly with client stakeholders.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your typical week will involve building scalable web applications, writing clean C# APIs, and ensuring the AngularJS frontend is responsive and performant. Because this is a client-facing position, you won't just be sitting behind a screen writing code; you'll be actively translating business requirements from client managers into working technical solutions, handling database optimizations, and troubleshooting production issues.
The Core Tech Stack
To survive here, you need deep proficiency in .NET Core and C# for backend services alongside solid experience with AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for the UI. The team relies heavily on your ability to write optimized SQL queries, design robust RESTful APIs, and perform rigorous unit testing without hand-holding.
Interview Expectations
Expect the technical interviewers to grill you on how you manage state and component lifecycles in AngularJS compared to modern frameworks, as well as how you handle asynchronous programming and dependency injection in .NET Core. They are secretly testing whether you can communicate complex architectural decisions clearly to non-technical client stakeholders during tense production triage.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume explicitly highlights your hands-on experience combining .NET Core backend services with AngularJS frontends, rather than just listing general full-stack keywords. Include metrics around API performance optimization and database tuning, and emphasize any past client-facing experience to prove you can handle the stakeholder management aspect of this role.
