Job Description & Details
This is a hands-on architecture role focused heavily on owning the Coupa ecosystem from design to optimization. If you enjoy untangling messy procurement workflows and integrating enterprise SaaS systems without breaking production, this gig will keep you busy and challenged.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Expect to spend your days knee-deep in Coupa configurations, optimizing modules like Procure to Pay (P2P), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and Supplier Information Management (SIM). You'll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, designing end-to-end integrations that actually make sense and troubleshooting workflow bottlenecks before they impact daily operations.
The Core Tech Stack
Deep expertise in the Coupa platform is non-negotiable here. You need to know system integration inside and out, specifically how to connect Coupa seamlessly with existing ERPs and enterprise systems using APIs and standard integration patterns. A solid grasp of IT service management tools, workflow administration, and Agile environments will be your best friend when dealing with shifting requirements.
Interview Expectations
They are going to test your practical knowledge of Coupa configuration limits and integration error handling. Be ready for a scenario-based question about troubleshooting a failed P2P integration or managing a complex CLM workflow update, where the hiring manager is secretly evaluating how you handle cross-functional pushback and maintain system integrity under pressure.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume highlights specific Coupa implementations rather than just general procurement buzzwords. Explicitly drop keywords like P2P, CLM, SIM, and system integration into your experience bullets to get past the automated screeners, and be prepared to talk through a time you trained end-users on a complex platform rollout.
