This is a hands-on architecture role where you will be driving large-scale PLM transformations for enterprise clients through Infosys. If you know Windchill inside and out and can talk shop with both C-level stakeholders and offshore engineering teams, this 6-month contract with a high probability of extension is worth a serious look.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days mapping complex business requirements to PTC Windchill capabilities, designing end-to-end solutions, and keeping development teams aligned. Expect to untangle legacy customization nightmares, guide enterprise-wide upgrades, and spearhead integrations between PLM and downstream ERP systems like SAP without breaking the entire product lifecycle.
The Core Tech Stack
You need absolute mastery over Windchill PLM 12, PDMLink, and ProjectLink, combined with deep fluency in Java, J2EE, and modern web services. Because this role demands heavy custom workflows, lifecycles, and access controls, you will also need to know how to write clean extensions and manage complex system integrations without grinding system performance to a halt.
