Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting architecture gig focused on steering enterprise teams through the chaotic shift into AI-native development. You aren't just writing code here; you're acting as the technical conscience who makes sure AI tooling like Claude Code and Cursor actually output production-grade systems instead of fragile garbage.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Expect to spend your days acting as the bridge between high-level enterprise strategy and the raw output of modern AI coding assistants. You will be auditing agentic workflows, refactoring messy AI-generated boilerplate, and driving organizational change so senior engineers actually adopt these new tools without breaking the CI/CD pipeline. Much of your time will be spent mentoring teams, establishing guardrails for AI-assisted development, and ensuring that speed doesn't come at the cost of architectural integrity.

The Core Tech Stack

You need serious battle scars in enterprise Java Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and modern relational or NoSQL databases, alongside React proficiency for frontend context. More importantly, your toolchain now includes deep, hands-on mastery of Claude Code or Cursor. The company isn't looking for someone who just uses Copilot for autocomplete; they need an architect who can frame complex problems with precise constraints and rigorously audit the resulting codebase for idiomatic engineering patterns.

Interview Expectations

Be ready to answer how you audit AI-generated code for hidden vulnerabilities and architectural debt, and expect to walk through a scenario where you had to push back on a team relying too heavily on unvetted code generation. The hiring manager is secretly testing whether you can balance the massive velocity gains of AI tools with the hard-earned wisdom of traditional software engineering principles.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to heavily emphasize your enterprise architecture background paired with concrete examples of AI-native tooling. Make sure keywords like Claude Code, Spring Boot, Microservices, and TDD stand out prominently to clear the ATS. Frame your past projects not just around what you built, but how you successfully led teams and managed change during major technical transitions.
