Job Description & Details
If you have an active TS/SCI clearance, military intelligence training, and the stamina for 24/7/365 shift work, this Junior Motion GEOINT Analyst role puts you right on the front lines of intelligence operations in McLean. It's a high-tempo gig that requires real focus, split-second typing accuracy, and deep familiarity with full-motion video exploitation. You'll be knee-deep in complex surveillance data, turning raw feeds into actionable intelligence for the DoD and Intelligence Community.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Expect to spend your shifts glued to full-motion video feeds, processing, exploiting, and analyzing motion GEOINT in real time. You'll be live-typing exploitation comments at a minimum of 32 words per minute while keeping an eagle eye on targets, building storyboards, executing vehicle follows, and generating 360-degree graphics. The environment is fast-paced and operationally demanding, meaning you'll need to constantly collaborate with NGA, NSG, and various service analysts to push out accurate summary reports and mission-specific briefings without missing a beat.
The Core Tech Stack
You need to be fluent in exploiting Motion GEOINT across multispectral, hyperspectral, IR, SAR, and LiDAR imagery platforms. The team relies heavily on your ability to ingest diverse imagery types and translate them into standardized NGA and non-standard intelligence products. Knowing your way around FMV exploitation workflows and standard imagery research tools is non-negotiable if you want to keep up with the volume and technical demands of this SAP-level environment.
Interview Expectations
Interviewers will likely test your analytical rigor by asking you to walk through a scenario where you're processing a fast-moving target under conflicting or low-visibility sensor conditions, wanting to see how you maintain accuracy and composure. They'll also probe your technical knowledge of IMINT or FMV exploitation workflows to gauge whether you can hit the ground running with multi-sensor data sources. They are secretly looking for absolute precision under pressure—someone who won't panic when the shift gets chaotic and the taskings pile up.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume screams 'intelligence professional' by explicitly highlighting your formal military intelligence training, MOS background, and specific years of hands-on IMINT or FMV experience. Don't hide your clearance status—put your active TS/SCI right at the top, and sprinkle in exact keywords from the job description like Motion GEOINT, NGA imagery analysis, and storyboard production so you easily clear the initial ATS screening.
