Senior .Net Developer

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a solid 12-month contract for a senior .NET engineer who can jump into an enterprise environment without hand-holding. You will be building full-stack web applications where the backend logic is just as critical as ensuring the modern frontend integrates cleanly. If you enjoy driving architecture decisions and mentoring junior devs while shipping production code, this gig is worth your time.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days designing scalable web applications and RESTful APIs, balancing backend heavy lifting with frontend integration using frameworks like Angular or React. Expect to lead code reviews, troubleshoot thorny production bugs, and collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and product owners in Agile sprints. A major part of your day-to-day will also involve pushing code through CI/CD pipelines and ensuring database performance remains rock-solid.

The Core Tech Stack

You need deep, battle-tested experience with C#, .NET Core, MVC, and Web API to handle the backend architecture. On the frontend, proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular or React is non-negotiable because you are expected to bridge the gap between UI and APIs seamlessly. Familiarity with SQL Server, DevOps pipelines, and Git rounds out the core toolset required to succeed here.

Interview Expectations

Expect the technical round to push past surface-level definitions, likely asking you to design a distributed system or microservice architecture from scratch using .NET Core while defending your choice of database indexing strategies. The hiring manager is secretly testing your ability to balance clean, maintainable code with business velocity under tight deadlines, so be ready to share war stories of how you handled a production outage or refactored legacy spaghetti code.

Application Advice

To get past the automated screen, ensure your resume explicitly highlights your hands-on work with .NET Core, Web API, and modern frontend frameworks like Angular or React rather than just listing them as buzzwords. Emphasize your experience leading code reviews, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring junior engineers to prove you operate at a senior level.
