Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting architect and leadership role for someone who has lived and breathed SAP Order-to-Cash for over a decade and a half. You aren't just configuring condition tables here; you are owning the entire solution blueprint, running client workshops, and steering complex enterprise implementations from day one. If you are tired of just taking tickets and want to drive architectural decisions in enterprise SAP landscapes, this is the exact kind of high-ownership gig you look for.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Expect to spend a massive chunk of your day interacting directly with enterprise stakeholders, running requirement-gathering workshops, and translating messy business requirements into bulletproof functional designs. You will be calling the shots on complex pricing structures, rebates, and cross-module integrations, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and offshore technical teams handling FRICEW objects. You'll lead the implementation strategy, ensure clean S/4 HANA adoption, and guide the delivery team through the inevitable landmines of enterprise deployments without breaking a sweat.
The Core Tech Stack
Deep, battle-tested expertise in SAP SD and the Order-to-Cash (OTC) lifecycle is non-negotiable, and you need robust S/4 HANA implementation scars to prove it. Mastery over complex pricing condition techniques is an absolute must, and if you have Vistex, Rebates, and Condition Contract Management (CCM) in your toolkit, you will instantly clear the bar. You also need to speak fluently about SAP Fiori, cross-module integrations, and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) to ensure your designs don't fall apart during end-to-end testing.
Interview Expectations
Be ready for the hiring managers to test your mettle with architectural curveballs regarding complex pricing architectures and rebates. They will likely ask you to explain a time when a critical OTC integration failed during a go-live and how you managed stakeholder panic while orchestrating a fix. The interviewer is secretly looking for your ability to push back on unrealistic client demands, manage scope creep, and demonstrate that independent consultant mindset where you don't need hand-holding to design a scalable solution.
Application Advice
Your resume needs to scream 'enterprise architect' rather than 'junior configurator.' Make sure terms like SAP S/4 HANA, Order-to-Cash, Pricing, Blueprinting, and Vistex are prominent and tied to measurable implementation successes rather than just listed in a skills table. Highlight your client-facing workshops and leadership experience right at the top so the ATS picks up your seniority before human eyes even hit the page.
