Palantir Administrator/Consultant

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting administrative contract role for someone who truly knows the ins and outs of Palantir Foundry. You will be stepping in to keep complex data ecosystems stable, secure, and performant for an enterprise operation requiring local presence in Plano. If you enjoy wrangling massive data pipelines and locking down enterprise security models, this gig gives you the keys to the kingdom.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Your day-to-day will revolve around keeping the Foundry platform humming, managing user access layers, and ensuring zero downtime for critical data workflows. You will spend a good chunk of your time troubleshooting broken pipelines, coordinating with data engineering teams to unblock deployments, and hardening security controls to meet strict governance standards. It is a mix of tactical firefighting and strategic environment management.

The Core Tech Stack

You absolutely need deep, hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry Administration and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). The team relies heavily on your understanding of cloud networking, APIs, and overall system architecture to keep integrations clean. While your main focus is administration, having Python, SQL, Linux, Git, and CI/CD under your belt will make or break your ability to debug issues alongside the engineering teams.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring manager to throw a complex permission inheritance or data pipeline bottleneck scenario at you to test how you handle enterprise governance failures under pressure. They are secretly looking for someone who doesn't just know the UI clicks, but fundamentally understands the security implications and underlying system architecture of the changes they make.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume screams Palantir Foundry administration and RBAC right at the top, because generic IT support backgrounds won't cut it here. Weave in keywords like data pipelines, security controls, and governance frameworks, and explicitly mention your hands-on experience with Linux, Python, and SQL to get past the automated filters and prove you are a seasoned operator.
