Job Description & Details
This is a specialized, high-stakes infrastructure gig focused on migrating the Omnify Empower PLM application directly into an Azure Government GCC High tenant. If you don't have deep, proven experience dealing with strict compliance frameworks and defense-grade cloud boundaries, you are going to struggle here.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days wrist-deep in subscription transfers, tenant-to-tenant migrations, and managing complex cloud separations. Expect to handle intricate hybrid networking setups, migrate identity systems, configure secure SQL data replication, and ultimately execute the production cutover without breaking compliance for defense contractors.
The Core Tech Stack
You absolutely must know your way around Azure Government and GCC High environments, paired with heavy-duty networking like ExpressRoute, Private Link, and VPN Gateways. On top of that, you need solid chops in Entra ID domain migrations, SQL Server replication, Windows Server administration for IIS-hosted .NET apps, and IaC tools like Terraform or Bicep.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring manager to grill you on how you would handle a zero-downtime tenant migration for a regulated workload under strict ITAR or NIST controls. They want to see how you troubleshoot authentication bottlenecks between active directory and Entra ID in a sovereign cloud, so be ready to walk through a real-world scenario step-by-step.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume explicitly calls out your exact timeline working inside Azure Government or GCC High tenants rather than just general commercial Azure. Highlight keywords like ITAR, NIST SP 800-171, ExpressRoute, and Azure SQL replication prominently to get past the automated screeners.
