Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting hands-on configuration gig where you will be knee-deep in Manhattan Active Order Management (MAO) as part of a massive global NEXTGEN transformation. You won't just be pushing paper or writing fluffy docs; you will actually build, maintain, and scale the global order management template that drives fulfillment across multiple sectors. If you know supply chain tech and love building reusable enterprise solutions, this is a solid project to sink your teeth into.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll spend your days translating approved functional designs into clean, maintainable Manhattan Active OMS configurations. Expect to manage order lifecycles from capture to fulfillment orchestration, troubleshoot stubborn config issues, and support various implementation teams. You'll be working hand-in-hand with internal product owners, architects, and QA folks under strict design governance and automated DevOps pipelines, meaning your configurations need to be solid out of the gate.
The Core Tech Stack
Your bread and butter here is Manhattan Active Order Management (MAO) and familiarity with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) ecosystems. You need a deep understanding of order capture, validation, inventory allocation, and fulfillment routing. Because this role lives inside a Global IT Center of Excellence, knowing how to work within structured configuration guardrails, automated testing frameworks, and continuous deployment environments is non-negotiable.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring team to grill you on how you handle complex order orchestration exceptions and inventory allocation logic within the MAO platform. They want to see if you can balance global template standardization with edge-case regional requirements without breaking the core architecture. When they ask about your configuration workflow, they are secretly looking for proof that you respect deployment guardrails and write maintainable, well-documented code that junior devs or QA engineers won't have to constantly babysit.
Application Advice
Skip the generic project management buzzwords and put your exact Manhattan Active OMS hands-on configuration experience front and center on your resume. Make sure to explicitly list keywords like order lifecycle management, template configuration, fulfillment orchestration, and automated testing to sail past the ATS. Highlight specific enterprise rollouts where you successfully balanced global template standards with custom business needs.
