Microsoft Dynamics Technical Lead

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting technical leadership role where you'll act as the definitive authority for a massive global Microsoft Dynamics CRM ecosystem. You won't just be writing code; you'll be architecting solutions, steering enterprise ERP rollouts, and designing data migration strategies for M&A activities.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days balancing high-level architectural governance with hands-on technical oversight across distributed global teams. Expect to lead design reviews, partner with enterprise architecture to enforce out-of-the-box principles, and manage complex integration patterns connecting Dynamics with ERP systems and middleware. You will also steer teams through heavy M&A onboarding, ensuring acquired firms plug cleanly into the existing tech stack without breaking data governance.

The Core Tech Stack

Your bread and butter here will be Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement modules (Sales, Service, Marketing) coupled heavily with the Power Platform—specifically Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Because this role demands enterprise-scale integrations, you need a deep, working grasp of Azure Integration Services, custom APIs, and robust data migration tooling to handle massive volume safely and securely.

Interview Expectations

When you sit down with the engineering leadership, be ready to defend your approach to a complex M&A data migration where two distinct tenant environments with overlapping data models must merge into a single Dataverse instance. They will want to hear how you handle data cleansing, transformation pipelines, and minimal downtime cutovers. You should also expect a deep dive into release management governance—specifically, how you push back on business stakeholders demanding heavy customizations when an out-of-the-box Power Platform feature would suffice.

Application Advice

To get past the ATS, your resume needs to scream enterprise-scale leadership rather than just administrative configuration. Make sure keywords like 'global enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations', 'Power Platform', 'Azure Integration Services', and 'M&A integration' are front and center in your summary. Highlight your experience managing system integrators and running Design Review Boards so they instantly recognize you as a strategic technical lead who can wrangle both code and people.
