Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting technical leadership role where you'll act as the definitive authority for a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem. You won't just be writing code; you'll be architecting integrations, guiding an ERP rollout, and steering technical strategy through high-stakes M&A integrations.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll spend your days driving end-to-end delivery across the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform landscape, balancing standard operational requests with aggressive company growth initiatives. Expect to partner heavily with Enterprise Architecture and M&A teams to design repeatable data migration frameworks that onboard newly acquired companies without breaking the existing architecture. You'll lead distributed technical teams, run design reviews, manage vendor performance, and constantly push stakeholders toward out-of-the-box configurations rather than costly, unmaintainable customizations.
The Core Tech Stack
You need absolute mastery over Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement modules) and the Power Platform, specifically Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Beyond the platform itself, deep expertise in Azure Integration Services, enterprise middleware, and API-driven architectures is non-negotiable because you'll be bridging Dynamics with a brand-new ERP system and various legacy data sources.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring panel to test your real-world battle scars by asking how you would architect a data migration and integration strategy for a newly acquired enterprise with overlapping customer data models. They want to see how you handle conflict between business demands and out-of-the-box platform constraints. Another likely deep-dive will revolve around governance—be prepared to explain how you enforce SDLC standards and manage release cycles across global, distributed teams without grinding development to a halt.
Application Advice
Your resume needs to scream enterprise-scale leadership rather than just administrative configuration. Make sure keywords like "Dynamics 365," "Power Platform," "Dataverse," "Azure Integration Services," and "M&A integration" are front and center. Highlight your experience managing system integrators and leading large, global deployments so the ATS immediately tags you as a strategic technical lead rather than a mid-level developer.
