Sr .Net Developer

Cargill

Job Description & Details

This contract role drops you into Cargill's GenAI Discovery and Prototyping team to help build platforms bridging enterprise data pipelines and large language models. It is a true full-stack gig where you won't just be tweaking prompts, but architecting the underlying systems that make generative AI useful in production.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days bridging the gap between raw LLM outputs and enterprise-grade UI components, building robust validation layers to ensure statistical models don't break downstream applications. Expect to juggle modernizing legacy architectures while standing up cloud-native, twelve-factor services inside strict corporate firewalls and security boundaries in Azure.

The Core Tech Stack

You need absolute fluency in C# for writing scalable backend web services paired with React and TypeScript on the frontend to deliver responsive UIs. Beyond the standard stack, hands-on production experience integrating LLMs into application workflows using Azure and Azure DevOps CI/CD is non-negotiable if you want to survive the prototyping pace.

Interview Expectations

Be ready to walk through a specific architecture where you handled messy, unpredictable LLM outputs and converted them into structured, reliable data formats. The hiring manager is secretly testing whether you understand LLMs as probabilistic tools rather than deterministic databases, looking for practical error-handling strategies when external APIs fail.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume screams full-stack competence by explicitly highlighting your C#, React, and TypeScript projects alongside tangible proof of production GenAI deployments. Don't just list buzzwords like Azure and CI/CD; weave them into stories about deploying secure, scalable applications under enterprise constraints to clear the ATS.
