Senior BI Data Analyst

Cynet Systems Inc.

Job Description & Details

This is a hands-on contractor role embedded in a mobility and end-user services environment where you will wrangle messy operational data into clean, executive-ready insights. If you enjoy untangling complex billing, inventory, and vendor data to drive actual business savings, this gig gives you the ownership to make an immediate impact without getting bogged down in endless red tape.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days pulling data from every corner of the operation—ranging from ServiceNow and SharePoint to specialized telecom tools like Calero and raw Excel sheets. Your main job is to consolidate, reconcile, and build trackers that make sense of enterprise mobility, asset management, and billing lifecycles. You are going to act as the bridge between raw data chaos and executive decision-making, regularly collaborating with finance, procurement, and external vendors to spot data gaps and push continuous improvement initiatives across the finish line.

The Core Tech Stack

You need to be a absolute power user of advanced Excel and data consolidation tools because you will constantly be stitching together disparate feeds from ServiceNow, SharePoint, and carrier reports. Strong business intelligence and dashboarding skills are non-negotiable since leadership will expect crisp KPI reporting and executive summaries that explain complex financial and deployment trends at a single glance.

Interview Expectations

Expect the interview team to hit you with a scenario where you are given a completely messy, misaligned billing or asset dataset with conflicting numbers from a vendor and an internal system, and they will want to hear your exact step-by-step method for reconciling it. They are secretly looking for pragmatic problem-solving, structured thinking, and proof that you won't just throw your hands up when the data is incomplete.

Application Advice

Skip the generic corporate fluff on your resume and heavily emphasize your direct experience with data consolidation, stakeholder management, and operational analytics. Make sure your resume explicitly calls out tools like ServiceNow, advanced Excel, and any telecom or vendor management platforms you have wrangled in the past to make sure you clear the automated ATS screen.
