EMM/Knox Admin

Marlabs LLC.

Job Description & Details

This is a hands-on infrastructure role running enterprise mobility management for a major client, centered specifically around Samsung Knox Manage. If you like untangling device compliance issues, wrangling MDM policies, and dealing with the quirks of Android Enterprise deployments, this gig keeps you right in the thick of corporate IT operations.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Your day-to-day will be a mix of platform administration and tier-two troubleshooting. You'll spend plenty of time configuring device policies, managing directory synchronization, and pushing out app updates via Managed Google Play while keeping an eye out for non-compliant hardware. When things break—whether it's an OS upgrade failing on a new device model or a user locked out of their work profile—you'll step in as the escalation point to diagnose the root cause, fix it, and update the documentation so it doesn't happen again.

The Core Tech Stack

You need solid, foundational experience with enterprise EMM/UEM platforms like Samsung Knox Manage, Microsoft Intune, or Workspace ONE, paired with a deep understanding of Android Enterprise and COPE models. Knowing your way around Active Directory or Entra ID integration, certificate-based authentication, and standard ITIL ticketing workflows is non-negotiable since you'll be coordinating changes and pushing updates in a tightly controlled environment.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring team to test your real-world troubleshooting instincts by asking how you would handle a mass device non-compliance issue following a botched Android OS update. They are looking to see if you can methodically isolate the problem, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and execute a rollback or fix without causing a business interruption. You should also be ready to explain how you configure Knox Mobile Enrollment and handle zero-touch provisioning scenarios from scratch.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume explicitly highlights your hands-on experience with Android Enterprise and specific UEM platforms like Knox or Intune, rather than just listing general IT support. Drop in keywords from the job description such as 'Managed Google Play', 'RBAC', 'COPE', and 'ITIL incident management' to make sure you clear the automated screening and catch the eye of the technical hiring manager.
