Contract Administrator Business Analyst

Cynet Systems Inc.

Job Description & Details

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented contract management role sitting squarely inside a high-volume department handling over a thousand unique agreements. If you enjoy untangling complex pricing structures, ensuring compliance, and acting as the crucial bridge between internal teams and external distributors, this gig keeps you right in the operational thick of things. It is less about high-level strategy and more about absolute precision because a single typo here breaks downstream pricing processes.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days managing the end-to-end lifecycle of contract setups, updates, and amendments. Your inbox will be a revolving door of communications from account managers, external customers, and wholesale distributors needing pricing and membership eligibility clarifications. You'll process agreements for countersignatures, coordinate cross-functionally to chase down necessary approvals, and meticulously input new or discontinued product information into the system while keeping an eagle eye on compliance and accuracy.

The Core Tech Stack

You need to be extremely comfortable living inside Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams to coordinate your workflows and parse massive amounts of data. Having prior, hands-on experience with enterprise platforms like SAP and Model N is a massive plus, especially given the pharmaceutical and managed markets context. The hiring manager is looking for someone who doesn't just know spreadsheets, but understands how relational pricing data flows through enterprise resource systems without crashing downstream operations.

Interview Expectations

Expect the interview panel to test your real-world problem-solving abilities by asking you to walk through a scenario where a major distributor disputes a contract's pricing eligibility and you have limited data to resolve it quickly. They are secretly looking for your communication style, how you methodically verify compliance, and whether you can stand your ground while maintaining a customer-first attitude. They will also likely quiz you on your familiarity with SAP or Model N to see how fast you can pick up their existing contract infrastructure.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to scream absolute accuracy and data integrity rather than high-level buzzwords. Make sure you explicitly highlight keywords from the job description like contract administration, pricing compliance, membership eligibility, and cross-functional stakeholder management. If you have any direct experience working in SAP, Model N, or pharmaceutical managed markets, put those right at the top so the ATS flags you immediately as a domain expert.
