Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting Digital Product Manager role focused on optimizing the "Find, Decide, and Buy" journey for complex platforms like FisherSci.com. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, bridging the gap between heavy enterprise requirements and intuitive customer experiences in a high-stakes B2B eCommerce environment.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll spend your days untangling complex customer journeys, merchandising strategies, and pricing presentation challenges. Expect to collaborate heavily with global engineering, UX, and analytics teams to prioritize the backlog, define MVPs, and ship iterative improvements. You'll constantly balance competing commercial and technical priorities while using data to drive every single roadmap decision.
The Core Tech Stack
You need a deep mastery of B2B eCommerce ecosystems, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and agile product management. Expertise in designing and executing A/B or multivariate testing frameworks is non-negotiable, as you will rely heavily on quantitative analytics and Voice of the Customer (VoC) insights to justify your product investments.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring team to present a complex scenario involving competing stakeholder demands and ask how you would ruthlessly prioritize the product backlog using limited engineering resources. They are looking for your ability to use hard data and customer impact metrics to defend your trade-offs rather than just pleasing internal voices. You will also likely be grilled on a past experience where an A/B test completely failed and how you pivoted your strategy based on the resulting behavioral data.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume screams B2B eCommerce and quantifiable impact. Instead of just listing responsibilities, highlight specific metrics around conversion lifts, A/B testing wins, and how you leveraged Voice of the Customer data to shape your roadmaps. Weave in keywords like "Find, Decide, and Buy journey", "MVP delivery", and "multivariate testing" naturally to clear the ATS filters and catch the eye of the product leadership team.
