This is a hands-on Salesforce Business Analyst role based out of Deerfield Beach, FL on a hybrid schedule, requiring you to be local to the area. You will be stepping in to bridge the gap between technical teams and business units, specifically supporting Sales and Marketing functions in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, groom the backlog, and translate business needs into actionable user stories for the development team. A significant portion of your time will involve configuring, optimizing, and supporting Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud instances, ensuring that marketing campaigns and sales pipelines run smoothly without technical bottlenecks.
The Core Tech Stack
You absolutely must bring solid experience with Salesforce, specifically deep familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and standard Agile methodologies. The team relies heavily on these platforms to drive customer acquisition and retention, so knowing how data flows through Marketing Cloud and how to write crisp, testable user stories is non-negotiable for success here.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring manager to throw a complex scenario at you regarding conflicting requirements from Sales and Marketing stakeholders, testing how you prioritize the backlog under pressure. They are secretly looking for your ability to push back gracefully, rely on data to make decisions, and translate ambiguous business requests into technical constraints. You should also be ready to whiteboard how you would design a multi-channel campaign journey inside Marketing Cloud from scratch.
