Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting, long-term implementation gig meant for someone who has deep battle scars from managing Oracle Cloud PLM rollouts in the food and beverage space. You'll be bridging the gap between gritty R&D formulation requirements and enterprise software architecture for a full 12+ months.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend a massive chunk of your time running discovery and blueprinting workshops, dealing directly with stakeholders in R&D, Regulatory, and Quality. Your day-to-day involves translating messy formulation processes, ingredient data models, and nutritional tracking into structured PLM workflows while keeping cross-functional teams aligned on timelines and deliverables.
The Core Tech Stack
You need absolute mastery over Oracle Cloud PLM, specifically its formulation and recipe management modules, alongside a deep functional understanding of food safety regulations like FDA, FSMA, and FALCPA. The client lives and dies by accurate ingredient management, supplier compliance, and label claim workflows, so you must know how to map these specific requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring team to grill you on a scenario where a major formulation change impacts downstream supplier compliance and regulatory label claims right before a product launch, asking how you would handle the PLM configuration update without delaying deployment. They are also going to test your stakeholder management skills by presenting a conflict between R&D wanting ultimate creative flexibility and IT pushing for strict process governance.
Application Advice
Skip the generic project management buzzwords and lean heavily into your exact Oracle Cloud PLM implementation metrics. Make sure keywords like 'recipe management', 'ingredient data models', 'FSMA', and 'solution blueprinting' are explicitly stated in your resume history to easily clear the automated ATS filters.
