Reltio MDM Solution Architect

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting architecture and engineering role focused entirely on wrangling complex, messy enterprise data into clean, production-grade Reltio MDM solutions. If you hate hand-wavy architecture and want to actually get your hands dirty configuring match rules, entity resolutions, and survivorship models, this gig gives you the ownership to do it right. You are coming in as the ultimate authority on master data accuracy, meaning you will live and breathe data hygiene.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days owning the end-to-end Reltio solution architecture, from data modeling and entity types to complex match-and-merge configurations. Your main battlefield will be troubleshooting false positives, over-merges, and under-merges while tuning search-before-create scenarios. You'll partner closely with Snowflake and data engineering teams to build bulletproof inbound pipelines, govern crosswalks, and clean up multi-source chaos before it wrecks downstream analytics.

The Core Tech Stack

You need absolute mastery over Reltio configuration, entity modeling, survivorship rules, and stewardship workflows because you are the final technical authority here. Beyond Reltio, deep fluency in Snowflake and modern data engineering integration patterns is mandatory since you'll be bridging the gap between raw data warehouses and mastered entities. Holding a current Reltio certification isn't just a nice-to-have; it's the baseline ticket to even be considered for this level of ownership.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring team to hand you a nasty data contamination scenario and ask you to live-debug why a specific set of customer records are over-merging across conflicting source systems. They want to see how you reason through match-rule tuning, survivor rule prioritization, and regression testing without breaking historical data. They will also drill down into your past Reltio implementations to see if you actually built the architecture or just watched someone else do it, so be ready to talk specifics on crosswalks and metadata models.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to scream Reltio and enterprise MDM from the very top; don't bury your certifications or architectural wins. Make sure keywords like 'entity resolution', 'survivorship', 'crosswalks', 'Snowflake integration', and 'match-and-merge' are explicitly highlighted to get past the initial ATS screen. Frame your past experience around quantifiable data accuracy improvements rather than just listing tools you've used.
