Job Description & Details
This is a hands-on, onsite contract role based in Peoria, AZ focusing on heavy modern .NET and front-end modernization. You will be dropping into an environment that needs immediate full-stack execution, whether you land in the mid-level slot or take charge of the senior openings.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days building and modernizing enterprise systems, bridging the gap between robust backend .NET services and slick front-end interfaces. Expect to tackle complex troubleshooting, refactoring legacy architecture, and pushing out clean REST APIs while utilizing AI tools like Claude to speed up your daily workflow.
The Core Tech Stack
You need absolute fluency in modern .NET and C# combined with either Angular or a strong React background. The backend relies heavily on Azure services like Web Apps, Functions, and Service Bus, alongside relational SQL databases, so knowing your way around cloud-native infrastructure is a non-negotiable requirement here.
Interview Expectations
Expect the interview panel to drill down into your architectural decisions regarding event-driven design and cloud deployments on Azure. They will likely ask you to whiteboard how you would migrate a legacy monolithic app to microservices using Service Bus and Azure Functions, listening closely to see if you can balance pragmatic engineering tradeoffs with clean code.
Application Advice
Skip the generic bullet points and make sure your resume immediately highlights your production experience with modern .NET paired directly with Angular or React. Explicitly mention your hands-on work with Azure and relational databases, and if you have experience using AI coding assistants in a professional pipeline, make that prominent to match their workflow expectations.
