Frontend Engineer

Job Description & Details

This is a rare chance to step in as the foundational frontend owner for an agentic platform already trusted by massive SAP integrators like KPMG and NTT Data. Since the existing team leans heavily backend, you will have complete autonomy to shape the user experience, architecture, and design systems from the ground up. If you thrive in high-ownership, fast-moving environments and want to build interfaces for cutting-edge AI workflows, this role is worth your attention.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days turning complex AI agent workflows and product designs into polished, blazing-fast web applications. Your primary challenge is designing interfaces where users can seamlessly review, guide, and approve actions taken by autonomous AI systems. Since you are the first dedicated frontend hire, you'll be bridging the gap between raw backend capabilities and enterprise-grade user experiences, constantly iterating based on direct customer feedback and session analytics.

The Core Tech Stack

You need to bring deep mastery of modern frontend fundamentals, specifically TypeScript, React, Next.js, and rock-solid HTML/CSS, alongside enough Python familiarity to comfortably interface with the backend services. Beyond just writing components, you are expected to understand how to build and scale design systems and performance monitor high-throughput web apps. Experience building UI for AI-powered, human-in-the-loop workflows is a massive differentiator here.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring team to probe heavily into how you architect large frontend systems completely from scratch without leaning on an existing template or team. They will likely ask you to design a complex UI state management solution for asynchronous AI agent outputs and ask how you handle latency and error states when users interact with long-running agentic workflows. They want to see that you can balance rapid shipping velocity with clean, maintainable architecture.

Application Advice

To get past the ATS and grab the hiring manager's attention, make sure your resume clearly highlights your experience owning frontend products end-to-end, particularly in early-stage startups or high-growth environments. Explicitly feature keywords like Next.js, TypeScript, design systems, and any past work involving AI interfaces or complex data visualization. Frame your past projects around metrics, user friction reduction, and complete feature ownership rather than just listing technologies used.
