Job Description & Details
If you are an early-career analyst trying to break deeper into financial tech, this gig gives you direct exposure to credit card and payment platforms without drowning you in legacy enterprise red tape. AaraTech Inc is looking for someone to step in, pick up the Agile rhythm fast, and help bridge the gap between business stakeholders and the dev team.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your day-to-day will be heavily grounded in translating messy business needs into clean, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. You will sit between product owners, IT teams, and external vendors during Agile ceremonies, writing documentation that actually makes sense, helping out with UAT, and making sure compliance and security standards do not get ignored while shipping features out the door.
The Core Tech Stack
While this is a functional role rather than a coding one, you still need to live inside JIRA and Confluence daily to manage backlogs and track delivery milestones. More importantly, your technical toolkit needs to include a working knowledge of SQL basics for data checks, plus a solid grasp of the credit card lifecycle, payment rails, and PCI compliance awareness to survive architectural and security discussions with the engineering leads.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring manager to hand you a vague user scenario about a broken credit card transaction and ask you to draft acceptance criteria on the spot to see how your analytical mind operates. They are secretly looking to see if you can ask the right probing questions to uncover edge cases rather than just taking initial requirements at face value. Be prepared to explain how you handle conflicting priorities when a stakeholder and a vendor want two completely different things.
Application Advice
Your resume needs to scream 'Agile practitioner who understands finance' right out of the gate, so make sure phrases like user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog grooming are front and center. Highlight any past exposure you have to banking systems, card networks, or UAT support, even if it was just academic or project-based, to bypass the initial keyword filters and show you are ready to hit the ground running.
