Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-duty technical project management gig focused on modernizing customer-facing web and mobile platforms. You aren't just pushing Jira tickets here; you are expected to actually understand the underlying Microsoft stack and guide cross-functional teams through complex digital transformations.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days driving the delivery of two active modernization initiatives, acting as the glue between internal dev teams, external vendors, QA, and security. Expect to wrangle project schedules, unblock technical roadblocks, manage dependencies for APIs and backend services, and ensure that security remediation and peer code reviews in Bitbucket actually happen before production deployments.
The Core Tech Stack
You need a solid foundation in Agile delivery tools like Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Bamboo, and Bitbucket. More importantly, you must have hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies—specifically C#, .NET, and .NET Core—along with a deep familiarity with the General Orders Track Rights System and Site-Specific Work Plan applications. If you don't know this specific domain, you will struggle to manage the technical depth required here.
Interview Expectations
The hiring manager is going to test your ability to manage legacy system modernization alongside modern web tech. They'll likely ask how you handle a critical vendor bottleneck right before a major production release, looking to see if you can balance schedule pressure with proper security and code review gates. Another likely angle is probing your technical literacy with .NET APIs, where they want to know you can speak developer fluently rather than just parroting Scrum terminology.
Application Advice
Your resume needs to heavily feature your experience with .NET technologies, Agile SDLC tools like Jira and Bitbucket, and specific mentions of managing web or mobile modernization projects. Make sure to explicitly highlight any background you have with the General Orders Track Rights System or Site-Specific Work Plan applications, as those are non-negotiable hard requirements for this role.
