Full Stack Java React Developer

Everforth Apex

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting enterprise gig requiring a decade of total IT background, split solidly between backend Java/Spring services and modern React frontends. You'll be dropping into an onsite environment in Newark to tackle complex, scalable web apps where legacy systems meet modern component-driven architectures.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Expect to bounce between writing robust backend REST APIs and crafting performant Single Page Applications. Your days will involve building reusable React component libraries, wiring up Spring Batch jobs, and ensuring everything is thoroughly tested with JUnit. You'll also navigate enterprise processes within a Scrum or SAFe framework, meaning standard sprint ceremonies and tight cross-functional collaboration with product and QA teams.

The Core Tech Stack

You need absolute fluency in Java, Spring MVC, and ReactJS. On the backend, familiarity with Swagger for API docs and SQL Server for data persistence will keep you moving. On the frontend, deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is mandatory, alongside hands-on experience with build tools like Maven and CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins or Ansible Tower.

Interview Expectations

When they drill into your React background, expect them to ask how you handle state management and performance optimization in large SPAs with deeply nested component trees. They want to hear about real-world bottlenecks you've solved. On the Java side, be ready to explain how you design secure, scalable REST endpoints using Spring and how you ensure high test coverage under strict sprint deadlines.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume doesn't just list technologies, but explicitly highlights your tenure—calling out your 6+ years of Java/Spring and 4+ years of UI/UX work right at the top. Inject exact phrases from the listing like "Single Page Applications", "reusable React component libraries", and "Spring Batch" to clear the ATS filters before a human ever looks at your profile.
