Senior Java Developer

Logisoft Technologies, Inc.

Job Description & Details

This is a solid contract role focused on building and maintaining enterprise-grade Java applications for Logisoft Technologies. You'll be spending your time knee-deep in core backend logic, relational data querying, and ensuring everything scales cleanly without throwing nasty exceptions in production.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will be writing and optimizing enterprise-level Java applications while spending a good chunk of your day troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, debugging threading issues, and working alongside QA teams. Expect to write complex SQL queries, optimize database interactions, and refactor legacy codebases to keep things running efficiently under heavy enterprise loads.

The Core Tech Stack

Core Java is non-negotiable here—you need deep fluency in OOP, collections, exception handling, and multithreading because the codebase relies heavily on clean, concurrent execution. On top of that, you'll need a strong grasp of relational databases with above-average SQL skills for writing joins, subqueries, and optimizing data retrieval. Familiarity with Spring Boot and unit testing tools like JUnit and Mockito will make your life significantly easier on this project.

Interview Expectations

Expect the interview panel to grill you on multithreading concepts, memory management, and synchronization pitfalls in Java. They will likely ask you to explain how you would troubleshoot a memory leak or a deadlock in a high-throughput production environment. The hiring manager isn't just looking for textbook definitions; they want to hear war stories of how you diagnosed and fixed similar performance issues in the past. Additionally, be prepared to write a complex SQL query involving multiple joins and subqueries on the spot to prove your data manipulation chops.

Application Advice

To get past the ATS and grab the recruiter's attention, make sure your resume explicitly highlights your hands-on experience with Core Java multithreading and enterprise application maintenance. Don't just list SQL as a skill; give concrete examples of query optimization or database troubleshooting you've done in previous roles. Weave in keywords like Spring Boot, JUnit, and relational database management naturally into your project descriptions to show you can hit the ground running.
