This is a heavy-hitting architecture role where you'll be the bridge between traditional enterprise tech and modern low-code platforms like Power Apps and OutSystems ODC. If you are tired of writing boilerplate code and prefer designing massive, scalable systems across Azure and AWS while mentoring dev teams, this gig gives you total technical ownership.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your days will be split between high-level strategic planning and getting into the technical weeds. You'll spend mornings leading discovery workshops with stakeholders to figure out business requirements, and afternoons evaluating whether a feature should live in Power Apps, OutSystems, or custom cloud infrastructure. You'll spend a lot of time defining API integration patterns, setting up CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring that security and disaster recovery protocols are baked into the architecture from day one.
The Core Tech Stack
You need deep, proven experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Dataverse, and OutSystems ODC, paired with a solid cloud foundation in Azure and AWS. Because this is a true enterprise architect role, you'll also need a firm grasp of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and event-driven integration patterns. Bonus points if you've already started experimenting with AI-first software engineering and Agentic AI solutions, as they explicitly call that out.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring panel to test your trade-off analysis skills by asking you to design a hybrid system on the spot and defend your choice between building custom in .NET versus using a low-code platform.
