This is a hands-on vendor management and data migration gig where you'll be acting as the operational anchor for a major Vendor Management Office. What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your primary mission is driving a messy data migration project, shifting vendor data out of legacy spreadsheets and safely into a modern application. Beyond the heavy lifting of data hygiene, you'll be functioning as the operational right hand for the VM team, pulling together analytical reports in Excel and PowerBI to keep stakeholders informed and compliant.
The Core Tech Stack
PowerBI and advanced Excel are absolute non-negotiables here because you'll be building out analytical reporting dashboards from scratch. Familiarity with vendor management tools or packages is expected, and if you've spent time inside Ariba, you'll hit the ground running much faster.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring manager to press you on how you handle messy, unstructured data migrations and reconcile discrepancies across multiple spreadsheets.
