Java Full Stack Developer

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-duty, senior-level Java Full Stack role requiring a strict 5-day onsite presence in Alpharetta, GA. You'll be dropping into a complex enterprise codebase where you'll own both backend microservices and modern frontend interfaces, all while plugging into a heavy AWS and data-processing infrastructure.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days architecting and scaling backend services using Spring Boot while keeping an eye on high-volume data workloads in Oracle RDS and Aurora. On the frontend, you'll be writing clean TypeScript with React or Angular to ship user-facing features. Expect to troubleshoot distributed system bottlenecks, streamline CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and Terraform, and actually integrate AI tools like GitHub Copilot into your daily routine to speed up refactoring and test generation without sacrificing code quality.

The Core Tech Stack

You need absolute fluency in Java, Hibernate, Spring, and Spring Boot to handle their microservices layer. On the cloud side, AWS services like ECS, EC2, S3, and MWAA are non-negotiable because the architecture relies heavily on distributed messaging and cloud orchestration. Don't sleep on your frontend skills either—they want someone comfortable bridging modern JavaScript frameworks with deep SQL expertise for heavy-duty data processing.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring team to grill you on how you handle distributed transactions and performance bottlenecks in high-volume microservices architectures. They'll likely ask you to whiteboard a complex data flow involving AWS ECS and Oracle RDS, listening closely to how you handle failure states and retry mechanisms. They aren't just looking for syntax; they want to see how you reason through large-scale system trade-offs under pressure.

Application Advice

Skip the generic summaries and make sure your resume immediately highlights heavy enterprise Java, Spring Boot, and cloud deployments on AWS. Drop specific keywords like 'Microservices', 'Oracle RDS', 'Terraform', and 'TypeScript/React' right near the top so you clear the ATS filters. If you have experience leveraging AI-coding assistants like GitHub Copilot to speed up delivery, make sure to mention it as it's a specific callout for this team.
