This is a heavy-duty program management gig inside a major financial institution where you will be wrangling multiple Agile teams to deliver complex tech initiatives. If you know how to cut through corporate red tape, manage gnarly cross-team dependencies, and actually get things shipped on time, this role gives you the platform to do it.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days bridging the gap between business leaders and tech teams, setting up delivery routines, and keeping stakeholders aligned. Expect to quarterback release kick-offs, run status reviews, and aggressively hunt down and remove roadblocks that are slowing down your teams. You'll also be deep in the weeds of dependency management, making sure that when Team A changes something, Team B doesn't accidentally break production.
The Core Tech Stack
You need to be fluent in Jira for tracking work and Tableau or similar BI tools for pulling together executive-level dashboards and health metrics. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are non-negotiable because you will constantly be translating messy project data into clean, digestible updates for leadership. Experience with enterprise project tracking tools like PPRT will also give you a massive head start.
Interview Expectations
They are going to ask you to tell them about a time a project went completely off the rails due to cross-team dependencies and how you personally untangled the mess. The hiring manager is secretly testing your leadership presence and conflict resolution skills to see if you can stand your ground with difficult stakeholders without burning bridges. They'll also probe your practical knowledge of Lean-Agile metrics, so be ready to explain how you measure actual team throughput rather than just tracking Jira velocity.
