Forklift Driver I

Cynet Systems Inc.

Job Description & Details

This is a straightforward material handling gig where you will be moving freight, loading trucks, and keeping inventory flowing smoothly in a warehouse environment. It is an entry-level position that gets your foot in the door with industrial operations without requiring years of prior warehousing history.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your shifts operating various industrial trucks—ranging from propane to electric-powered forklifts—to shift pallets, load and unload transport vehicles, and stage materials across the warehouse floor. The day-to-day is fast-paced and requires high attention to spatial awareness and safety protocols, as you will be navigating tight spaces around other heavy machinery and personnel.

The Core Tech Stack

The most critical tool here is your ability to safely and efficiently operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift, along with basic pallet jacks and lifting devices. Safety compliance and pre-trip inspection routines are non-negotiable since you will be operating heavy industrial machinery daily in a busy facility.

Interview Expectations

The hiring manager is likely going to test your safety mindset first and foremost, so expect situational questions about how you handle blind spots, heavy loads on inclines, or pedestrian traffic. They are secretly looking for someone who won't take shortcuts when rushing to meet quotas, so emphasize your absolute commitment to OSHA standards and accident-free driving.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume highlights any prior warehouse, logistics, or machinery operation experience, even if it is just basic stocking or shipping/receiving. Explicitly mention terms like "material handling," "inventory movement," and "safety compliance" to easily pass the ATS screening for this role.
