Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting integration role for someone who knows Mule 4 inside and out and can talk Salesforce APIs without blinking. If you are tired of basic CRUD apps and want to build robust enterprise integration patterns that actually scale, this Atlanta-based onsite gig will keep you on your toes.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your day-to-day will revolve around designing, developing, and deploying APIs on the Anypoint Platform while untangling legacy data flows. You will act as the bridge between Salesforce and various backend systems, meaning you'll spend a good chunk of your time writing complex DataWeave transformations, managing CloudHub deployments, and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks before they blow up in production.
The Core Tech Stack
You need deep, production-level fluency in Mule 4, CloudHub, and API Manager. More importantly, you must know Salesforce integration patterns like the back of your hand—knowing when to use Platform Events vs. REST/SOAP APIs is non-negotiable here. Master your DataWeave mappings, RAML specs, and CI/CD pipelines because the codebase relies heavily on clean, reusable, and scalable API-led connectivity.
Interview Expectations
Expect the interview panel to skip the textbook definitions and test your failure-handling strategies. They'll likely ask you how you would design a resilient, high-volume synchronization between Salesforce and an ERP using MuleSoft without hitting rate limits or dropping payloads, looking specifically for how you handle error propagation, DLQs (Dead Letter Queues), and retry mechanisms. They might also throw a gnarly DataWeave optimization problem at you to see how you handle nested arrays and performance tuning under pressure.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume screams Mule 4 and Salesforce integration, rather than just listing generic Java or web development experience. Explicitly highlight your work with CloudHub, API Manager, and complex DataWeave scripts near the top so you easily clear the ATS filters. Since this requires onsite work in Atlanta with no visa sponsorship, clearly state your current local authorization status right at the top of your resume to avoid getting auto-rejected.
