Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting program management role focused entirely on wrangling enterprise identity governance and PAM initiatives across multiple locations. If you are comfortable standing up SailPoint workflows, herding cross-functional engineering teams, and dealing with auditors in regulated sectors, this gig will keep you on your toes.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days driving enterprise SailPoint application onboarding, orchestrating JML processes, and managing certification campaigns without letting timelines slip. Your real job is bridging the gap between deep-in-the-weeds developers, security teams, and impatient stakeholders. Expect to manage project dependencies, track security risks, and enforce standardized testing and release governance while keeping executive dashboards green.
The Core Tech Stack
You need a firm grasp of SailPoint's inner workings—specifically application onboarding, provisioning workflows, connectors, and access governance—alongside working knowledge of Privileged Access Management platforms like CyberArk. The client is not looking for a passive PM who just updates spreadsheets; they need someone who actually understands identity lifecycles and can speak the technical language of the security engineers they are managing.
Interview Expectations
Be ready to walk through a time when a major IAM project went off the rails due to scope creep or broken connector integrations, and explain how you rescued it. The hiring manager will also test your crisis management abilities by asking how you handle conflicting priorities between an aggressive business deadline and strict audit or compliance findings.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume screams IAM and SailPoint governance, not just generic agile project management. Highlight any past experience working within regulated industries like financial services or healthcare, and explicitly call out your background in handling vendor governance, risk remediation, and executive communication to easily clear the ATS filters.
