Job Description & Details
This is a senior-level onsite Angular role working within the banking sector in Atlanta, focusing on modern Angular versions 13 through 16 to build secure enterprise applications. It is a traditional day-shift, office-based position with zero travel, making it a stable gig if you prefer working shoulder-to-shoulder with cross-functional teams in a corporate environment.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will spend your days architecting and building complex Single Page Applications from scratch, handling everything from reactive forms and observables to optimizing lazy-loaded modules. A lot of your time will go into performance tuning—fixing change detection bottlenecks, reducing bundle sizes, and making sure the UI doesn't stutter under heavy global usage. You'll also be collaborating closely with backend devs to wire up APIs, writing unit tests to keep code coverage high, and doing peer code reviews to enforce internal banking security guidelines.
The Core Tech Stack
You need absolute mastery over Angular (versions 13 to 16) and TypeScript, as the entire architecture relies on deep knowledge of modules, components, services, and state management patterns. On top of that, rock-solid fundamentals in modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS are mandatory since you'll be building responsive, accessible UI layouts that tie directly into critical financial workflows. Knowing how to write robust unit tests for your Angular components is also a non-negotiable requirement.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring manager to drill down into your strategy for optimizing change detection in massive enterprise Angular applications, specifically asking how you handle memory leaks and sluggish DOM updates. They will also likely test your knowledge of secure coding practices in the frontend, wanting to hear how you handle input validation and mitigate common web vulnerabilities before data ever hits the backend.
Application Advice
To make it past the ATS, your resume needs to explicitly feature versions 13, 14, 15, or 16 of Angular right at the top, alongside keywords like TypeScript, RxJS, state management, and enterprise unit testing frameworks. Don't just list your jobs; write bullet points that emphasize performance tuning, bundle size reduction, and your experience working in secure, highly regulated environments like banking.
