Senior Program Manager (Contract), Pricing Transformation

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting program delivery role where you will own the end-to-end technology execution of a multi-year Pricing Transformation initiative. If you hate status-meeting-heavy PM jobs where you just shuffle slides, this is a refreshing change—you're actually driving delivery, wrangling vendors, and managing SVP-level stakeholders to launch Price Setting and CPQ capabilities.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll be orchestrating a complex web of commercial stakeholders, finance leaders, internal engineering teams, and external system integrators. Your day-to-day involves keeping external vendors accountable, ruthlessly managing scope creep, untangling multi-workstream technical dependencies, and running executive governance without flinching. You are the single throat to choke for whether this transformation lands on time, in scope, and hits its financial outcomes.

The Core Tech Stack

While you won't be writing code, you need deep fluency in enterprise ecosystems, specifically around Price Setting and Configure Price Quote (CPQ) platforms. Experience with SAP integrations is a massive advantage here because you'll be bridging the gap between legacy financial architectures and modern commercial tools. A solid grasp of Agile/SAFe frameworks alongside rigorous enterprise delivery methodologies is non-negotiable for keeping cross-functional teams aligned.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring team to test your executive presence and conflict resolution skills immediately by asking you to describe a time a major enterprise vendor slipped their delivery milestone by two months right before a critical go-live. They want to hear how you held them accountable without alienating your partners, and how you communicated that delay upward to SVPs without causing a panic. Another favorite line of questioning will revolve around scope management: be ready to walk through a real-world scenario where you had to push back on a VP who wanted to add unbudgeted features mid-stream.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to scream enterprise-scale delivery rather than standard project coordination. Make sure to prominently feature keywords like "SVP-facing," "CPQ," "Pricing Transformation," "Vendor Management," and "Enterprise Scope Control" right near the top. Don't just list what projects you worked on; explicitly highlight the budget sizes, team counts, and business outcomes you delivered to prove you can operate autonomously in high-ambiguity environments.
