Salesforce Developer / Technical Lead

Job Description & Details

This is a solid, hands-on 6-month contract for a senior Salesforce Developer who won't just write code, but will actually lead technical delivery for enterprise solutions. You'll be bridging the gap between US-based business stakeholders and offshore development teams while keeping the codebase clean and performant.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Your day-to-day will be a mix of heavy custom development and technical oversight. You'll be deep in Apex triggers, writing robust test classes, and building out modern UI components using the Aura framework and Lightning Web Components. Beyond writing code, you will manage complex production deployments using Change Sets and the ANT Migration Tool, troubleshoot stubborn integration defects, and ensure that the team is adhering to strict coding standards and best practices.

The Core Tech Stack

You need to bring deep, battle-tested expertise in Apex, SOQL, and custom UI frameworks like Aura and Visualforce because the legacy code isn't going to rewrite itself. On top of that, your integration game needs to be sharp—expect to build and debug REST and SOAP APIs, handle data migrations via Data Loader, and configure complex security settings across Sales and Service Clouds. Having that Salesforce App Builder and Platform Developer I cert isn't just nice to have; it's your baseline entry ticket.

Interview Expectations

When you sit down with the engineering leads, be prepared to whiteboard a complex asynchronous Apex architecture or explain how you handle governor limits during a massive data migration. They are secretly trying to figure out if you actually know how to optimize bulky SOQL queries under pressure or if you just rely on out-of-the-box configurations. They'll also test your communication skills by asking how you push back on unrealistic stakeholder requirements without derailing the Agile sprint.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to scream enterprise-level Salesforce experience right at the top. Make sure keywords like 'Aura framework', 'Apex triggers', 'REST/SOAP integrations', and 'ANT Migration Tool' are explicitly stated in your recent project history rather than buried in a generic skills list. If you've delivered end-to-end Lightning projects in heavily regulated spaces like healthcare, highlight those implementations to immediately move to the top of the pile.
