Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting executive delivery role where you will act as the senior-most bridge between complex client demands and high-performing engineering teams. If you enjoy untangling messy multi-workstream programs, protecting engineering margins, and talking architecture with enterprise CTOs without losing touch with actual delivery, this one is worth a serious look.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You will spend your days owning the end-to-end execution of large-scale accounts, making sure that what gets promised to the client actually ships on time, within budget, and without burning out your teams. You'll be managing Technical Delivery Managers, Architects, and PMs across distributed onshore and offshore models, stepping in to resolve critical escalations, and actively hunting for account expansion opportunities alongside client renewals.

The Core Tech Stack

While you won't be writing production code daily, you need absolute mastery over modern enterprise delivery methodologies, large-scale consulting ecosystems, and distributed team governance. Crucially, this client wants someone who can champion AI-assisted and agentic development practices across their delivery pipelines, meaning you need to understand how to practically integrate modern AI tooling into the software development lifecycle to drive velocity.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring panel to test your operational resilience with a scenario where a massive multi-workstream project is 30% over budget, two months behind schedule, and the client CTO is threatening to pull the contract. They want to hear how you triage the technical debt, restructure your distributed teams, and have that uncomfortable conversation with the client without panicking. Another favorite will be asking how you personally evaluate AI-assisted development tools for enterprise delivery without introducing severe security risks or plummeting code quality.

Application Advice

Skip the generic management fluff on your resume and put hard metrics front and center. If you managed a $20M portfolio, grew an account by 40%, or successfully transitioned a global delivery organization to AI-augmented workflows, state those numbers explicitly. Make sure keywords like 'delivery excellence', 'margin management', 'distributed teams', and 'AI-assisted development' are heavily represented so you easily clear the initial ATS filters before a senior leader reads your actual experience.
