Job Description & Details
If you know your way around SAP Production Planning and Extended Warehouse Management, this fully remote Business Systems Analyst gig at Everforth Apex lets you skip the commute while wrangling complex supply chain integrations. You'll spend your days acting as the crucial translation layer between business stakeholders and tech teams who actually build the stuff.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Expect to spend a good chunk of your time figuring out why an IDoc failed or collaborating with product managers to scope out new features for manufacturing and warehousing lines. You'll map out current business workflows, figure out where things are bottlenecked, and translate those real-world logistics headaches into clear technical requirements for the agile development team. When new solutions roll out, you're the one leading the training sessions and making sure end users don't break production on day one.
The Core Tech Stack
SAP PP and SAP IM/EWM are absolute non-negotiables here; you cannot fake your way through this module architecture. Beyond core SAP, you need to understand IDoc-based integrations, batch scheduling ecosystems, and how APIs tie everything together. Bonus points if you have background experience dealing with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or CPG environments where things move fast and downtime costs real money.
Interview Expectations
They are definitely going to ask you to walk through a time you troubleshot a broken integration or IDoc pipeline between SAP and an external system, and they'll want to hear about your specific debugging methodology. The hiring manager is secretly testing whether you can talk to a stressed-out warehouse manager in plain English and turn around and explain the exact technical root cause to a developer without losing your patience.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume doesn't just list SAP as a skill, but explicitly highlights your hands-on configuration and support experience with PP and IM/EWM modules. Drop in keywords like 'IDoc integrations', 'Agile SDLC', 'business process modeling', and 'production support' so you easily clear the ATS filters, and use your bullet points to emphasize actual ROI or efficiency gains you've delivered on past supply chain projects.
