Palantir Application Developer

Everforth Apex

Job Description & Details

This is a forward-deployed engineering role where you'll sit at the intersection of heavy enterprise operations and Palantir Foundry development. You'll be building applications and Workspaces that non-technical users actually rely on, meaning your success hinges as much on your consultative communication as your code.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Expect to spend your days knee-deep in Palantir Foundry, translating messy business workflows from operational SMEs into clean, functional applications. You'll be bridging the gap between raw data sources and the end-users by writing automations, handling API integrations, and modeling data for the ontology. It is a fast-moving, delivery-focused seat where you'll actively clear out backlog items, manage releases, and ensure your tools drive actual operational improvements rather than just sitting on a dashboard.

The Core Tech Stack

Your bread and butter here is going to be Palantir Foundry and Workspace development, supported heavily by Python or TypeScript for backend logic and custom integrations. The hiring team needs someone who understands data modeling and ontology building inside and out, because you won't just be writing scripts—you'll be architecting how data flows through enterprise operations. If you haven't wrangled complex APIs or built user-facing apps within Foundry before, you'll struggle to keep up with the deployment pace.

Interview Expectations

When you sit down with the engineering team, expect them to test how you handle ambiguity when dealing with non-technical stakeholders. They will likely ask you to describe a time you had to translate a vague operational problem statement into a concrete technical architecture within an agile framework, and how you managed shifting requirements mid-project. The hiring manager is secretly looking for soft skills wrapped in technical competence; they want to know you won't get flustered when an enterprise user asks for a feature that breaks your data model, and that you can diplomatically guide them to a better solution.

Application Advice

To make it past the automated filters, your resume needs to explicitly feature keywords like Palantir Foundry, Workspace development, data modeling, Python, TypeScript, and API integrations. Don't just list these technologies; frame your bullet points around deployed solutions and measurable business impact in agile environments. Highlight any customer-facing or consulting background you have, as proving you can talk shop with business leaders is just as critical to this role as writing clean code.
