Adobe Workfront Architect

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting architecture role focused entirely on wrangling Adobe Workfront at an enterprise scale across multiple major U.S. hubs. You won't just be clicking around building basic request queues; you'll be owning the entire governance, workflow automation, and integration ecosystem to keep massive cross-functional teams aligned.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days acting as the bridge between high-level business stakeholders and the actual technical setup of Workfront. Expect to design complex portfolio management structures, build out multi-tiered approval workflows, and figure out how to cleanly integrate Workfront with the rest of the Adobe Experience Cloud. You'll constantly be untangling messy intake processes and translating vague requests from leadership into bulletproof, scalable technical configurations.

The Core Tech Stack

You need deep, hands-on mastery of Adobe Workfront configuration—custom forms, advanced reporting, role-based access control, and complex templates are table stakes here. Beyond standard administration, heavy experience with Workfront Fusion and REST APIs is non-negotiable since you'll be automating workflows and tying this platform into external tools and the broader Adobe ecosystem like AEM and Creative Cloud.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring team to test your deep architectural knowledge by asking how you would handle a scenario where multiple business units have conflicting workflow demands within the same Workfront instance. They want to see how you approach governance, access control, and platform scalability without breaking user adoption. They'll also likely grill you on a specific technical failure using Workfront Fusion and how you diagnosed a broken webhook or payload mapping issue under pressure.

Application Advice

Your resume needs to scream enterprise Workfront architecture, not just general project management. Make sure keywords like Workfront Fusion, custom forms, resource management, REST APIs, and governance standards are front and center. If you've successfully managed massive multi-region implementations or integrated Workfront with AEM or Creative Cloud, put those projects right at the top of your experience bullets to clear the ATS easily.
