Job Description & Details
This is a hands-on, high-impact consulting role where you will bridge the gap between heavy enterprise data and human-friendly design. If you are tired of just pushing pixels and want to build interfaces that actually make sense of complex Azure and Databricks pipelines, this 6-month gig in Bellevue is worth your time.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll spend your days driving the entire design lifecycle from user research and wireframing all the way to production-ready web applications. You will sit down with stakeholders, figure out what their Customer 360 data needs to look like, and then design and build the frontends that pull from backend APIs without choking on data volume. Expect to balance rapid prototyping with enterprise-grade performance, security, and scalability constraints.
The Core Tech Stack
You need a sharp command of UX/UI interaction design, user research, and modern web application development. But what really separates you from other applicants here is your ability to wire those interfaces into backend data architectures like Azure and Databricks. If you don't understand how APIs feed data into a UI or how to design for heavy enterprise data reporting, you'll struggle with the technical reality of this project.
Interview Expectations
Be ready for the hiring manager to ask you how you handle bridging heavy backend data flows with a clean, responsive frontend experience, specifically when dealing with large datasets from Databricks. They want to hear about your systematic approach to design thinking and how you ensure your UI remains snappy under heavy API loads. They are testing whether you are just a designer who talks about theory or a true consultant who understands production-readiness.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume highlights your end-to-end project work, specifically emphasizing where you took a complex enterprise or data-heavy product from user research to deployed code. Don't just list tools like Figma; explicitly highlight keywords like Azure, Databricks, APIs, Customer 360, and performance scalability to clear the ATS and show the recruiter you have the exact enterprise experience they are paying top dollar for.
