Adobe Analytics Consultant

Everforth Apex

Job Description & Details

This role puts you right at the intersection of marketing tech and data architecture, helping enterprises untangle their customer data flows using Adobe's heavy-hitting ecosystem. If you enjoy building out schemas, wrangling identity management, and translating chaotic stakeholder requests into actual, functioning data models, this gig gives you the ownership to do just that. It's a solid mid-to-senior position for someone who actually knows how the guts of AEP and CJA work under the hood.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days knee-deep in Adobe Experience Platform and Customer Journey Analytics, designing data views, configuring schemas, and setting up identity resolution rules that don't break when traffic spikes. A lot of your time will go toward bridging the gap between business stakeholders who just want 'better dashboards' and the technical reality of getting enterprise systems, CRMs, and web/mobile apps to talk to each other cleanly. You will also be the person establishing data governance practices, meaning you'll need to figure out how to keep data clean, compliant, and actually useful for audience activation.

The Core Tech Stack

You absolutely must live and breathe Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). This isn't a role where you can fake your way through calculated metrics, custom data views, and schema design. The team needs someone who understands API integrations and how to tie AEP into broader enterprise architectures like CDPs and ETL pipelines. If terms like identity management, dataset configuration, and audience activation sound like second nature to you, you'll fit right in; if you've only ever built basic tag management containers, this is going to be a steep climb.

Interview Expectations

Expect the interview panel to skip the trivia and throw a messy scenario your way, like asking you to explain how you would handle identity stitching and data fragmentation when a user logs in across multiple devices on an e-commerce platform. They want to see how you troubleshoot data discrepancies in CJA data views and whether you can methodically trace an issue back through your AEP ingestion pipelines. They'll also probe your stakeholder management skills by testing how you push back on a business request that violates core data governance principles without alienating the marketing team.

Application Advice

Don't just list Adobe on your resume and expect the ATS to do the heavy lifting; you need to spell out the specific architecture work you've done. Make sure keywords like 'Adobe Experience Platform', 'Customer Journey Analytics', 'schemas', 'identity management', and 'audience activation' appear naturally in your project descriptions. Highlight instances where you successfully bridged marketing requirements with backend data engineering, as proving you can speak both languages is the quickest way to get the hiring manager's attention.
