Job Description & Details
This is a hands-on Full Stack Engineer role where you will be building and supporting high-visibility, external-facing web applications. You'll be operating in a hybrid model (4 days onsite) across major hub locations, focusing heavily on modern cloud-native architectures and robust delivery pipelines. If you enjoy owning features from design to deployment and care about system performance and security, this is a solid gig.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Your day-to-day will revolve around designing and delivering end-to-end web applications that real users interact with daily. You'll be pairing React frontends with Node.js backends, spinning up serverless infrastructure on AWS, and ensuring your CI/CD pipelines are humming smoothly. A big part of the challenge here is balancing rapid feature delivery with DevSecOps best practices, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks across microservices, and keeping APIs secure and reliable under load.
The Core Tech Stack
You need deep, production-level expertise in React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend because you won't have time to ramp up on the syntax. AWS cloud services, specifically serverless computing and databases like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and DynamoDB, are non-negotiable since you'll be managing cloud data persistence. Experience with microservices and API integrations (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) will dictate how well you communicate with other distributed services.
Interview Expectations
Expect the technical interviewers to grill you on how you handle state management, component lifecycles, and performance rendering optimization in large-scale React apps. They want to see that you understand the asynchronous event loop deeply in Node.js and can design resilient, secure serverless APIs on AWS without creating tight coupling between microservices. They are secretly looking for architectural maturity—someone who anticipates failure modes in production and designs systems with observability and security baked in from day one.
Application Advice
Skip the generic summaries and tailor your resume to scream 'customer-facing web applications.' Explicitly highlight projects where you owned the frontend and backend of external-facing products built with React and Node.js. Make sure terms like AWS serverless, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and specific database technologies appear naturally in your work history so you easily clear their automated ATS filters.
