Project Manager II

Not Disclosed

Job Description & Details

This is a solid mid-level project management gig inside a massive Fortune 500 financial tech ecosystem. You will be juggling multiple complex IT and Identity & Access Management workstreams while keeping cross-functional security and compliance stakeholders happy. If you like high-visibility projects with strict regulatory guardrails, this one's worth your time.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll spend your days driving multiple IAM initiatives forward, from initial scoping to final deployment. Your real job is managing dependencies, putting out fires before they stall the sprint, and translating complex technical blockers into clean PowerPoint slides for executive leadership. Expect to facilitate daily stand-ups, herd cats across security and engineering teams, and keep everyone accountable without driving them crazy.

The Core Tech Stack
This role doesn't require you to write code, but you need to talk the talk when it comes to Identity & Access Management. A deep grasp of SSO, provisioning, RBAC, PAM, and directory services is non-negotiable since you'll be managing deliverables around them. On the tooling side, you'll live in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint, while utilizing Jira or similar Agile tools to run Scrum and Kanban boards with your engineering squads.

Interview Expectations

Expect the hiring manager to press you on a time you had to untangle a massive dependency bottleneck across competing teams. They want to hear about your specific mitigation strategy, not high-level theory. They'll also likely test your executive communication skills by asking how you deliver bad news to a VP when a critical IAM milestone slips past its deadline.

Application Advice

To get past the ATS, you need to pepper your resume with exact keywords straight from the posting like 'Identity & Access Management', 'IAM', 'dependency management', and 'Agile methodology'. Don't just list your past job titles; highlight specific enterprise security projects where you managed multi-team workstreams and regulatory compliance frameworks like SOX or PCI-DSS.
