Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting architecture gig focused on untangling and scaling a complex Quote-to-Cash ecosystem. If you enjoy corporate platform consolidation, especially cleaning up the mess left behind by mergers and acquisitions, this contract will keep you very busy.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You will step in as the primary IT leader for the entire Q2C domain, wrangling stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Operations. Your day-to-day will involve directing a blended team of onshore and offshore developers, setting up delivery roadmaps, and fixing integration bottlenecks between Salesforce and hybrid ERP systems like Infor Syteline. Expect to deal with plenty of platform rationalization and acting as the final escalation point for critical production incidents.
The Core Tech Stack
You need absolute mastery over Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ/RCA, Field Service Lightning (FSL), and Service Cloud. Beyond just knowing the Salesforce ecosystem, you must deeply understand how it talks to ERPs and financial systems. The company values architects who can bridge the gap between high-level enterprise strategy and the gritty technical realities of data flows and integration pipelines.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring panel to test your battle scars regarding post-acquisition tech integrations; they will likely ask you to describe a time two disparate Salesforce orgs or conflicting ERP systems had to be merged without halting business operations. They want to see how you handle stakeholder pushback and balance technical debt against business deadlines under heavy pressure.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume doesn't just list Salesforce certifications, but explicitly highlights your leadership in Quote-to-Cash optimizations, global team management, and M&A platform consolidations. Use exact phrasing like "Quote-to-Cash", "CPQ/RCA", "FSL", and "platform consolidation" so you easily clear the automated keyword filters. Emphasize your experience running blended onshore/offshore delivery models.
