Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM Architect Consultant

Job Description & Details

This is a heavy-hitting migration gig for someone who knows enterprise PLM inside and out, specifically taking legacy environments and moving them into the modern cloud. You'll be untangling two separate Agile PLM 9.3.6 setups and consolidating them into a clean, unified Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM platform, which means you need to be comfortable dealing with complex data models and legacy technical debt right from day one.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Your day-to-day will revolve around mapping out the future-state architecture and figuring out how to bridge the gap between old workflows and modern cloud capabilities. You'll spend a lot of time analyzing legacy BOMs, MPNs, ASLs, and customizations, then designing the target state across Product Development, Product Hub, Product Quality, and PG&C. Expect to heavily drive the data migration strategy, managing everything from mapping and validation to cutover and go-live while keeping stakeholders aligned across the board.

The Core Tech Stack

You need deep, battle-tested experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud PLM and legacy Agile PLM 9.3.x, plus solid integration chops involving Oracle EBS 12.2.x. Mastery of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Fusion APIs, and REST endpoints is non-negotiable because you'll be building robust pipelines between PLM and ERP. If you haven't extensively configured Item Masters, BOMs, ECOs, and AMLs across both ecosystems, you are going to struggle with the data reconciliation phase of this project.

Interview Expectations

Expect the interview panel to test your real-world battle scars by asking how you handle complex BOM transformations and data mapping conflicts during a multi-source Agile-to-Fusion migration. They want to see how you troubleshoot data validation failures and reconcile discrepancies between legacy custom attributes and standard Fusion cloud schemas. They aren't looking for textbook definitions; they want to hear war stories about how you saved a cutover weekend when custom integrations failed.

Application Advice

Make sure your resume highlights end-to-end PLM migrations rather than just support or minor configuration work. Front-load keywords like Agile PLM 9.3.6, Oracle Fusion Product Hub, OIC, and Oracle EBS 12.2.x so you easily clear the initial ATS screening, and use your summary to emphasize your experience leading large-scale data reconciliation and stakeholder management for enterprise manufacturing clients.
