Job Description & Details
This is a heavy-hitting platform product role where you'll own the roadmap for cloud infrastructure, observability, and disaster recovery across a massive enterprise. If you like dealing with complex organizational friction, aligning sprawling technical teams, and treating internal infrastructure as an actual product, this one is worth your time.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll spend your days wrangling competing priorities between engineering squads, enterprise architecture, and business stakeholders to keep cloud services running smoothly. Your primary job is translating nebulous enterprise requirements into crisp user stories in Jira, driving platform adoption metrics, and keeping the migration and disaster recovery engines moving forward without breaking production.
The Core Tech Stack
You need a deep, fluent understanding of CloudOps, enterprise observability, and cloud infrastructure paradigms. This isn't writing code, but it is deeply technical product management—you'll be expected to talk shop with infrastructure engineers about disaster recovery topologies, ITSM integrations, and observability toolchains using Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Align to track every bit of velocity.
Interview Expectations
Expect the hiring panel to hit you with a scenario where your cloud platform roadmap directly conflicts with an application team's emergency delivery deadline; they want to see how you balance enterprise governance with developer velocity. You'll also likely get grilled on SAFe 6.0 mechanics and how you handle backlog prioritization when every stakeholder claims their cloud initiative is top priority.
Application Advice
Make sure your resume doesn't read like a generic project manager's CV; emphasize metrics around platform adoption, enterprise scale, and actual cloud migration or observability rollouts. Sprinkle in keywords like CloudOps, Disaster Recovery, SAFe POPM, and KPI-driven delivery to sail through the ATS and grab the hiring manager's attention immediately.
